There are many activities in the area including beautiful walks around the Glenkilrie Estate or within a mile you can walk the newly established Cateran Trail (old drove road) which will take you through Glenshee and in the direction of Glenisla. on consists of two double and one twin bedroom. Each room has it's own private bathroom comprising of bath / shower, toilet and wash hand basin. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and centrally heated. |

Guests also have the use of a lounge with television, an open log fire and tea and coffee. On arrival at Glenkilrie guests are welcomed and offered tea and biscuits. Following this the "younger" hosts of the Houstoun family appear, introduce themselves and a guided tour of the grounds is usually on offer. |

Fishing in Tayside - Glenkilrie farmhouse during summer. Cycling can be arranged in the nearby village of Kirkmichael. Walking, Glenshee and Glenisla on the Cateran trail. Golf - Many golf courses locally. Travel to Pitlochry, Rosemount and St. Andrews Tour - Royal Deeside, Perthshire, Tayside and surrounding countryside. |

Pony trekking and Shooting can be arranged. The children love to show guests the animals they have as pets. This includes guinea pigs, dogs, Shetland ponies, a Highland pony, fallow deer, ferrets and you could easily end up feeding the pet lambs and collecting the fresh eggs for your own breakfast. |

Guests of all nationalities are welcome to stay on our farm as part of a Scottish family in a Scottish farmhouse in one of the most beautiful parts of the country rural Scotland has to offer. For those who are interested in the history of Scotland, Kirriemuir, Glamis Castle, Balmoral Castle, Braemar and Royal Deeside, Scone Palace and Blair Castle are all within a one hour drive of Glenkilrie. |
